Scana Subsea secured another important contract for production of components for riser systems for a floating platform project in the Gulf of Mexico.

The contract is a strong recognition of the company’s product development within long riser components with high tensile strength, for use in deep water field developments.

The order value is approx. 14 million Swedish kroner.
Production starts immediately and delivery will take place from Q3 2020 to Q1 2021.

The market outside is growing. Looking at the segments within oil and gas, subsea is winning as a result of a strong growing deep water market – as well as increasing use of subsea technology to pull in new wells for existing platforms.”Scana Subsea has had a good start to 2020, and has now a solid order back log of about SEK 100 million,” states Peter Jansson.
