Secures another important order

Subseatec was recently awarded a contract to deliver Subsea equipment for field developments in the Gulf of Mexico. The total contract value is approx. 20 MSEK.

Subseatec’s scope is delivery of parts for subsea production systems, including engineering, procurement, testing and documentation.

“These products will be delivered against the toughest industry standards for high pressure and high temperature developments”, says Peter Jansson, Managing Director of Subseatec.

Manufacturing is planned to start immediately. Deliveries will commence from Q3 2020 and continue through Q2 2021.

“The contract is an acknowledgement of our engineers’ leading expertise on advanced products for the oil and gas industry. It also represents a strong recognition of our continuous product development for the use of high-tensile grades in high pressure and corrosive environments”, says Jansson.

With the company’s origin in the steel business, Subseatec has a unique understanding of properties and the production methods required for each material grade. The company also has access to a strong and reliable supply chain for forging, machining, welding, coating, connections, testing and inspections.
