Succesful deliveries to SHELL PowerNap

Subseatec delivers three SCR stress joints to the PowerNap tie-back to the Shell-operated Olympus production hub.

This takes place in the Gulf of Mexico and planned production start is during 2021.

Our client TechnipFMC successfully installed the SCR’s with the stress joints during the autumn of 2020 and the photo shows the stress joint assembly during last phase of the installation process.

The delivery is another strong recognition of the company’s continuous development within the field of long forged products with high-tensile material grades, to be used in risers to deep water field developments.

Subseatec is one of the most experienced specialist companies in the world on forged riser applications for the oil and gas industry. The company is owned by industrial investor Scana Asa, which is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange and owns several renowned portfolio companies.
